This page polls GET /connections/data once a second. The built-in probe makes the simulator dial its own endpoints as a client — Modbus register reads, OPC UA node reads, an MQTT subscription, REST polls and SQL queries — so bidirectional traffic is visible even when no external system is attached. Probe peers are labelled dfs-probe; anything else you see connected is a real client.
